The thing is that msmtp knows absolutely nothing about how mails are
constructed. It can only find the spearator between headers and body,
and can parse address headers if necessary. For msmtp, the mail body is
just a stream of bytes.

So no, it is not planned to add such a feature, sorry...

But probably there's another tool that you can put between your MUA and
msmtp that will do what you want?
