Hi Martin,
Thanks a lot.
After pkgconfig, I had to install texinfo also.
Still I am getting some error in doc/ directory while running make and make install.
But i think it is only doc related. Everything else is working.

I'm able to send email.
So everything is working fine. :-) 
Practically problem is solved and closed. Thanks a lot.

For completeness sake, I shall anyway add the error output i was getting regarding doc.

Since it was only for doc/ I gave make install
At the end it gave similar error.

Then you also need the pkgconfig package, which provides the
PKG_CHECK_MODULES macro. Strange that autoconf does not give an error
about this when creating the configure script.
