[msmtp-users] Compiler error - Solaris 10

Hello!

Im trying to compile msmtp on solaris 10 and have installed gcc according to:
http://cooltools.sunsource.net/gcc/4.0.3/install.html

I exported the gcc path with:
bash-3.00# export PATH=/opt/gcc/bin:$PATH

When i run ./configure i get this result:
bash-3.00# ./configure
checking build system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking target system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking for a BSD-compatible install... build-aux/install-sh -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... build-aux/install-sh -c -d
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... no
checking for nawk... nawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... no
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name...
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

A couple of the checks reports as "no", are they mandatory or optional?
Maybe i need gawk, mawk for the script to find out the executable name?
I dont want to mess to much with this solaris system, so before i install those packages i thought ill send it to the mailing-list :)

Regards /Crille
